A 19-year-old girl, who allegedly filed a fake complaint of kidnapping and gangrape few days ago, committed suicide in Ghatkesaron Wednesday.
Deputy commissioner of police, Malkajgiri said, "This is a sensitive issue and I can share details only after investigation."According to sources, the girl died at her relative's home after consuming an unknown substance. Few days ago, the girl complained of being kidnapped and raped while coming back from her college.As per her complaint, she was abducted by an auto driver and few other men and was later raped in Keesara police station limits. However, Rachakonda police commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat confirmed in a press conference that the complaint was fake. The girl had kept Rachakonda police on their toes for 3 days.
