The police registered a case on the complaint of Neena Bedi, the mother of the deceased, resident of street number 3 of Swati Nagar. Amidst the tension, on 17 June 2020, he committed suicide by hanging himself in the house. Tamanna Devi said that a police team is being sent to Gurugram to arrest the accused.
