Police have recovered Shanaya's brother Rakesh Katve's body in pieces from different roads. According to the news of the Indian Express, the police have found that Rakesh has been brutally murdered. Police found the severed head of Rakesh Katve from the Devaragudihal forest, while the rest of the body parts were recovered from different places in Hubli and Gadag Road.
During the investigation of the case, the police have arrested four accused namely Niaz Ahmed Katigar, Tauseef Channapur, Altaf Mulla and Aman Giraniwale. According to the news, the police found in the investigation that Rakesh's sister i.e. Kannada actress Shanaya Katve is also involved in this murder. The reason behind Shanaya doing this is said to be her love affair. According to the news, Shanaya and Niyaz are in love with each other, but her brother was against this relationship after which Niaz conspired to kill Rakesh. On April 9, the day Shanaya had gone to Hubli for the promotion of her film, the incident was carried out. Katigaar and his friend together brutally murdered Rakesh and threw the body into pieces at different places in the city.
As soon as the matter came to light, the Hubli police investigated it and arrested Shanaya. At present, the actress has been sent to judicial custody.
