TIRED OF WIFE'S ILLICIT RELATIONS, THE YOUNG MAN SWALLOWED POISON, DIED

On Saturday, a 35-year-old youth, fed up with his wife, swallowed a poisonous substance.

Gurdaspur: A 35-year-old youth, fed up with his wife, swallowed a poisonous substance on Saturday. He died during treatment in the hospital. On the basis of the statements of the father of the deceased youth, the police of Sadar police station has registered a case against the daughter-in-law and her lover. At present the accused is out of the custody of the police.

Jaspal of Kot Mohan Lal told in the complaint given to the police that about 14 years ago his son Ashwani Kumar was married with Sannam Bevi resident near railway gate Lohian district Jalandhar. He also has two boys. His daughter-in-law often used to fight with his son. Along with this, his daughter-in-law had illicit relations with Gagandeep Singh alias Gagga resident Kot Mohan Lal. Only a month ago, his daughter-in-law had gone to her maternal home along with her children. Because of this his son was worried. He told that last day his son got fed up with the said accused and swallowed some poisonous substance. This made his condition critical. He was taken to a private hospital in Gurdaspur, but his son died during treatment. On the other hand, SI Pawan Kumar said that on the basis of the statements of the youth's father, a case has been registered against the accused. Ashwani used to work abroad for seven years

Jaspal told that his son Ashwani used to work abroad for seven years. Came back to his home six months ago. He used to run a meat shop. But due to his bad leg, only Ashwani used to handle the shop. He has demanded from the police administration that the accused should be brought to justice by arresting them at the earliest.
