A man was allegedly murdered by his wife and son in Mahabubabad district of Telangana on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: A 43-year-old man was allegedly brutally murdered by her wife and son in Vankudoth Thanda area of Mahabubabad district of Telangana on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Bukya Bicha, a Bukya Thanda resident who worked as a farmhand. On Tuesday, his wife Pramila and son Suresh allegedly sprinkled chilli powder on his eyes and then thrashed him with sticks. Later, Suresh smashed Bicha’s private parts using a sharp-edged stone. Bicha sustained injuries that caused his death.
According to a report by The Times of India, the incident occurred at the house of the victim’s mother-in-law. His son and wife have been arrested for murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. The victim used to harass his wife and son after consuming liquor. He was even accused of murdering his mother. A few other cases were also pending against him, police officials said.
According to the police, the couple had an argument over delay in serving dinner on Saturday last week. The elderly man, in a fit of anger, began hitting his wife with a stick, leading to injuries that resulted in her death on the spot.
In yet another incident, a 16-year-old boy burned down his grandparents’ house in Tamil Nadu Salem district, killing the elderly couple in the blaze. As per reports, the minor boy committed the crime because his grandparents compared him with his cousins and taunted him.
After the crime, the teenage accused turned himself in to the police. He was booked under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
