Vidisha : The incident is of Vindhyachal Express, which was going from Ganjbasoda to Damoh on Monday night. On the way, at 8.30 pm, passengers in coach number D4 near the outer of Ganjbasoda railway station noticed that a person’s face was on fire. This caused a stir among the passengers. Then the fire was extinguished by putting blankets.
The youth has been identified as 30-year-old Sach Sahu, a resident of Karma Bai intersection. She has alleged that a young woman threw a flammable substance at her face and then she jumped off the train and fled.
The reason for throwing acid on the young man’s face is not known, but the matter is being linked to the press affair. The reality will be known after the statements of the youth. He is not in a position to make a statement yet.
It is being told that Sachin Sahu works as a guard in a private company in Vidisha. He was coming back from Vidisha with his friend Amit Kushwaha. At the same time, the girl threw acid on her face in the train, some distance away from Basoda railway station.
It is also reported that after throwing acid, a stampede broke out in the train, due to which three passengers were injured and the girl jumped from the train and fled. Passengers stopped the train by pulling the chain. When I came down and looked, the girl could not be seen in the dark.
According to GRP officers, there was information about the scorching of passenger Sachin Sahu in the night. Has been admitted to the hospital in serious condition. Sachin’s brother Lokesh Sahu told that Sachin works in an office in Vidisha. He had joined the job only a month and a half ago.
Madan Bansal, a passenger who was present in the train at the time of the incident, told that his wife was sitting on the lower seat in the train at night. He and the children were in the upper seat. Suddenly the daughter shouted that Papa – there was a fire. When I saw a person came near his seat. His face was on fire. He hit that person four or five times in the face with the blanket he was wearing. This put out the fire.
