BHOPAL: A case of attempting to rob a taxi by calling a rented cab and killing the driver has come to light. The driver survived the case, but he was seriously injured. The driver had caught the accused girl on the spot, but the boys had escaped. Later, the Kamla Nagar Police also apprehended the three boys. These four had booked Ola taxi.
The taxi driver told that the girl was saying 'cut the driver's throat quickly ..'. I understood his intentions. I pressed the horn with my leg. Hearing the horn constantly, some people ran towards the car, so the boys escaped. The accused girl was caught by a blood-soaked driver. The police sent the injured taxi driver to the hospital.
Kamla Nagar Police has named accused Ankit, Akash, Laddu and the girl in six sections, including attempt to murder.
